It has been more than 4 years, since we started with foryouandyourcustomers in Melbourne. Since then our team in Melbourne has grown and we could help our Australian customers such as Officeworks, and many others on their Master Data Management and E-Commerce journey. With the foundation of our Sydney office, we reached an additional milestone for our expansion in Australia.

Now, after 2 years of limited travelling opportunities during the pandemic, we decided to make the move again and open new offices in Australia. In March 2022 it was finally allowed to step on the island Down Under again. Stephan Müller our Group CEO, our founder and president Jonathan Möller and Tobias Felbecker our e-commerce expert, landed on March 19th and were warmly welcomed by the Melbourne team. The three guests from Europe have used this opportunity not only to visit the 52nd art exhibition presenting Lauren Burrow’s artwork, but also to found the new legal entity foryouandyourcutomers Sydney Pty Ltd. It was a great way for them to reconnect with old friends and talk about the idea of opening a new cell in Sydney. But where did this idea come from?

When foryouandyourcustomers was founded in 2010, it was already clear that it would be an international company. That is why Melbourne was founded in 2018 as the first location on another continent, besides Europe. One of our foryouandyourcustomers‘ success factors in Europe is the collaboration of the 17 independent and locally rooted locations. Each location, we call them cells, creates its own identity and supports its local customers. With a similar network of cells in Australia, we will be closer to our customers and service them in more digitalisation topics such as e-commerce, customer experience, relationship management, and in product master data management. With our office in Sydney, we will also be closer to some of our partners such as Stibo Systems or commercetools.

Tobias Felbecker will move from Zurich to Sydney for at least 12 months to support our Australian customers in e-commerce and omnichannel topics, as well as establish new offices in Australia. To build our local organisation, foryouandyourcustomers is now hiring new people from Down Under who benefit from the group’s broad expertise. We are currently looking for a Director Sales and Consulting to join us. 

New joiners have the chance to play an essential role in developing the Australian expression at foryouandyourcustomers. They will get the opportunity to travel to Europe for a few weeks or months to visit and collaborate with colleagues from different cells located in Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands and Switzerland. The goal is to feel and fully live foryouandyourcustomers’ culture and ways of working closely with the different cells and bring it Down Under.
